Buddies

This past weekend was much more enjoyable than the one before it. Everyone was feeling better and thankfully Jax never got our bug. It is a nasty thing that was going around and I don't think it hit us as hard as it did some of our friends. We have been staying away from our Moms Club friends, because almost all of them have been sick and even some of the babies at our church had it too.
Anyways, we did have a new friend come visit this weekend. Our friends Allison and Christian adopted a baby from Ethiopia in August and we had not had the pleasure of meeting him yet, so we had them over on Monday. Reece is 15 months and an absolute doll. Sawyer loved him and has asked about him everyday since he left. Reece was pretty interested with Jax and even more interested with that thing in his mouth.

Sawyer is showing his new friend how to push the button or "but" as he calls it. Every time he sees any kind of button he points and yells out "butt, butt." He also says ice with a twang, so it doesn't sound like ice, and can be a little embarrassing when we are out in public.

Reece is a pretty laid back kid and not so sure what to think about our little wild man!
