This has been an eventful and somewhat hectic week, with 3 birthday parties, out of town guests, doctor's appointments, and all of our regular activities. Justin has had a lot of work to do at home in the evenings besides his regular two jobs. Jon and Kelsey came in to shoot a wedding with him on Saturday. Justin got in last night at around 1:00 am just to wake up at 6:00 to go to church. It is 3:00 pm and he is still there, so I know he must be exhausted.
We had planned to go to the park on Saturday to celebrate Sawyer's birthday, but he started running a fever on Friday night. We went to Justin's parents house instead. He has been running a fever off and on since then. He has been terribly cranky and clingy all day today. He was playing in his room earlier and I went in to check on him and he was curled up fast asleep on the floor. Of course, now he is in his crib unable to nap. I think he may have the virus that Jax had a couple of weeks ago. Jax is doing better except for his stuffy nose that won't go away.
I was hoping this week would be less hectic than last week. So far we are starting out with 1 sick toddler, 1 baby with a snotty nose, 1 messy house, 0 groceries, and 2 exhausted parents. It doesn't look promising.

yeah, it's harder to get rid of things when two kids are passing it back and forth. hope sawyer gets to feeling better. he looked like he enjoyed ALL those cakes! his rocker shirt was cute too.
