on the road again...

We have just returned from the Brenham Youth Conference this past week. Brenham is the home to Blue Bell ice cream, in case you didn't know. I ran sound for the conference and Meredith & Sawyer came along for a vacation. We stayed there for 6 days and fell in love with the quaint little town. We got to take a VIP tour of the Blue Bell factory with the vice president of the company(seriously). We slept in every day and had all of our meals covered. Check out the pic below of little Sawyer stretched out in the big bed. They even had a big gift basket delivered to us with gift cards, snacks, and baby items. We loved the hospitality.

Sawyer even managed to score another girlfriend while at the conference. Here is a pic of the band guy's new baby girl and Sawyer. They had totally different schedules at night so Sawyer had a hard time planning a date with her. She goes to bed around midnight and he likes to go to bed around 9:00. He did so well this week. He was happy pretty much the whole week.

Update: This is picture of Sebastian (our previous foster child) who was able to spend the night with us recently. He and his sister Lilith are doing well. It was so good to see him. He's growning up so fast.

Carrie,

That whole area seems to have the great combination of big beautiful trees, young families, and a slower pace of living. I am sure it is a great place to raise a family. Meredith and I will have to put it on the ever growing list of places that it would be cool to move to.

Justin, let me know if you're ever in the area again. If you ever need a place to stay this way, let me know!
