Mother's Day OUt

The boys and I started mother's day out at our church this week. I am teaching the younger 3's class and Sawyer and Jax are in their own classes. Justin took a few pictures of us on our first day.

I did have Sawyer in a red shirt to match Jax's blue shirt, but he got toothpaste all over it. What a way to start the day.

Justin took Jax to meet his teacher while I got my room ready. He wasn't sure what to think about that.

He had a really good first day. The only part he didn't like was nap time, but by Thursday he was lying quietly on his mat and even fell asleep for a little while.

Here is Sawyer with his teacher. He was super excited about starting "little school" as he calls it. He had a great day. He loved everything about school including nap time. When we got home that day he told me that if he went back to Texas he would miss his new friends. I asked him if he wanted to go back to Texas and he said, "No, I want to stay in Louisiana." This is huge, because for almost 2 months he has been saying how much he misses his friends in Texas and wants to go back. I am thrilled that he is happy and starting to feel at home here.

The tumble bus from Bayou Gymnastics comes to MDO once a week. It is a school bus that has been turned into a little gym. He loved it. Here he is hanging out with his friend Jolie.
